Description

Overview

Pico is a dining table credited to the Flexform Design Center. Its top has no sharp edges, while the cast-aluminum legs taper downward to give the rectangular form a lighter profile. Flexform dates the wider Pico family to 2020.

Construction

An aluminum structure supports marble or veneered tops. Standard finishes are burnished, matt titanium 710 and glossy anthracite; the Finish Plus program adds satin, chrome and black chrome.

Specifications

For code 028384, Flexform labels the table 181 cm wide, 90 cm deep and 72 cm high. The sheet also shows 207 cm and 233 cm lengths.

Story

Tapered support

Flexform's account of Pico begins with its narrowing legs. Rather than treating the support as a purely vertical frame, the design gives each cast-aluminum leg a gradual taper and softens the top perimeter by removing sharp edges.

A configurable table

The dining version is offered in three documented lengths. Its aluminum structure can be combined with stone or veneered tops, while a separate Finish Plus specification expands the metal treatments beyond the standard burnished, titanium and anthracite choices.
