Story

One panel, three elements

Vitra describes the structure of Physix as a continuous seat shell made by stretching a single textile panel between two side members. Alberto Meda combines a flexible frame construction, an elastic cover and a stabilising mechanism to explore dynamic sitting.

Three versions

Beside the office swivel chair, Physix Conference has a four-star base and Physix Studio is a reductive variant.
