Overview
The Petros Stool by Claudio Dondoli & Marco Pocci is a piston-operated stool with a rigid polyurethane shell. Its height adjusts through the piston mechanism.
Construction
The shell is molded and then lacquered, while the structure receives a matching satin-finish lacquer. The saved product page lists 660 mm height, 406 mm width, 432 mm depth and 559 mm seat height after conversion from inches for the stated configuration shown here.
Finish
The product is offered in two finishes.
Story
Piston operation
Petros combines a molded shell with an adjustable central support and foot ring. Its circular base and matching lacquer complete the stool's support system. Its proportions keep the mechanism visually legible beneath the shell.
Shell
The rigid polyurethane shell is shaped before lacquer is applied, leaving the seat surface continuous around the sitter. The two available finishes keep the product palette focused.
