Description
Overview
Designed by Antonio Citterio in 2013, Petit Repos is a low swivel lounge chair with an integrated flexible back connection. The back yields as the sitter leans into the moulded body.
Construction
- Shaped polyurethane foam around a polymer supporting frame
- Four-star swivel foot in die-cast aluminium
- Textile or leather cover options
Specifications
- 665 × 660 × 715 mm
- 405 mm seat height for the US configuration
Story
A smaller reclining response
Petit Repos extends Antonio Citterio’s work for Vitra with a lower, more compact chair. Instead of the synchronised hardware used by Repos, its body incorporates a flexible connection that permits a measured backward movement.
Two height settings
The fact sheet gives two seat positions. The American configuration uses the lower 405 mm setting; the higher option lifts both the seat and the upper edge by 40 mm.
