Overview
Antonio Citterio designed the Parker Outdoor armchair in 2022. Iroko turned and finished by hand and hand-woven cord give the armchair its character.
Construction
The structure is hand-turned, hand-finished solid iroko over a steel support frame, with elastic webbing that repels water. Hand-woven cord is offered in three materials. Polyester fiber and a crushproof variable-density insert make the seat cushion, while the backrest cushions use polyester fiber.
Specifications
- 91 x 91 x 85 cm (code 0295C1)
- Iroko finishes: 4
- Cord colors: 16
Story
Hand-made wood and weave
The Parker Outdoor armchair is made by hand: the iroko is turned and finished by hand, and the cord is hand-woven. Beneath the wood sit a steel support frame and elastic webbing that repels water.
Cushions and finishes
The armchair has a seat cushion and backrest cushions in polyester fiber with water-repellent upholstery. Iroko comes in natural finish, stained grey, stained brown or lacquered white, and grosgrain piping on the upholstery can be made in any color of the sample board.
