Description
Overview
Jess Sorel designed the Nemschoff Palisade Easy Access Chair for Herman Miller. The seat is raised above standard seating height to help people change between sitting and standing, and the arms and footrest add support and accessibility.
Construction
Its frame is powder-coated metal and heavy-duty steel. The legs are wallsaver legs, non-marring glides sit underneath, and the components are replaceable.
Specifications
Overall size 23.5 x 27 x 39.75 in (W x D x H, Nemschoff Palisade Easy Access Chair).
Story
Higher than standard seating
Palisade Easy Access Chair is set higher than standard seating, so moving between sitting and standing takes less effort. Arms that support the sitter and a footrest are added for comfort and accessibility.
Steel frame and floor contact
Powder-coated metal and heavy-duty steel make up the frame. Wallsaver legs and non-marring glides protect walls and floors, and the components can be replaced.
