Description
Overview
Pack Chair 10 was designed for HAY by Jasper Morrison, and HAY calls it a contemporary reinterpretation of the wooden trattoria chair. A moulded plastic seat and back carry the familiar outline into an industrial setting; solid oak legs and an optional plywood backrest add a natural contrast to the shape.
Construction
HAY gives the seat and backrest as 80% post-consumer recycled polypropylene mixed with wood fibres; the fibres strengthen the material and give the surface a gently natural feel. HAY describes the construction as easy and intuitive to assemble.
