Description

Overview

The OE1 Personal Hoodie sits on a desk or table as a soft, portable boundary. Sam Hecht and Kim Colin designed it for the OE1 Workspace Collection. The lightweight form also reduces glare from bright light.

Construction

The hoodie is made from 60 percent recycled plastic bottles and is 100 percent recyclable. An opening at the bottom rear lets cables pass to the floor, and up to six hoodies stack for storage.

Specifications

27 in wide and 17 in high.

Story

A boundary around personal work

The hoodie shields work from passersby and signals to others that focused work is under way. It also reduces glare from bright lights or the sun when work is taken outside.

Stacking and recycling

When not in use the hoodies stack together for storage and transport, and six can be stacked. The material is 60 percent recycled plastic bottles, and the hoodie is 100 percent recyclable.
