Overview
The OE1 Movable Screen is a partition for flexible workspaces, letting people set up and rearrange team areas quickly. Its designers are Sam Hecht and Kim Colin, and it is one of the OE1 Workspace Collection products.
Construction
A light yet sturdy metal base keeps the screen upright with nothing to attach. The fabric is tackable on both sides, with a tapered Pari edge or a flat edge.
Specifications
The screen is 0.8 in deep, 14, 18 or 25 in high and 42 to 72 in wide.
Story
Free-standing and mobile
Because no attaching is needed, teams can carry the screen over surfaces and from table to table. Herman Miller describes it as privacy on demand.
Edges and fabric
Pari or flat edges and a range of fabrics suit a bold look or a quiet one. Both faces take pins, so teams can put up work and personal items.
