Story
Model 9
The page says the chair was originally dubbed Model 9 and was created by Arnold Madsen in around 1956 as an aesthetic reinterpretation of an armchair, with a horseshoe construction, an integrated headrest and armrests in wood.
Credited to Madsen in 2020
Audo says the design was at first mistakenly attributed to Nanna Ditzel and was rightfully credited to Madsen in 2020. As no drawings of the original design exist, the current chair is built after a vintage version.
