Overview
The Oblong Plus Bed is a Jasper Morrison design for Cappellini, introduced in 2025. Cappellini calls it the natural evolution of the Superoblong Bed, with an integrated storage compartment added. It is an upholstered bed.
Construction
The structure combines poplar plywood, medium-density fibreboard panels and metal joints. The headboard has a steel tube frame with elastic belts, and the fixed bedstead is beech plywood with slats. Padding layers cold-foamed polyurethane, multi-density foam and polyester fibre wadding beneath a removable cover.

Story
From Superoblong to Oblong Plus
Cappellini presents the Oblong Plus Bed as the natural evolution of the Superoblong Bed, which has been part of the collection since 2012. Jasper Morrison's new model keeps the comfort of its predecessor and gains a practical integrated storage compartment that uses space more effectively without losing elegance.
