  • Overall height: 74 cm
  • Square and rectangular tops
  • Standard and office configurations
  • Office versions may incorporate cable-management accessories for workplace layouts

Story

An archetypal table

Arper calls Nuur an archetypal table because its identity comes from an uncomplicated relationship between top, rails and corner legs. Simon Pengelly's design minimizes the visible structure while keeping the system adaptable across square and rectangular formats.

From single table to workplace system

The same disciplined frame supports standard tables and office versions. Arper adds cable management, combs, trays and modesty panels to workplace configurations without changing the underlying four-corner principle. Nuur received the XXII Compasso d'Oro in 2011, following several awards listed for 2010.

The gallery shows the same spare corner-leg structure in a hospitality setting and from a more distant interior viewpoint (gallery:1; gallery:2).
