Overview

The Nomade-express bed settee is a Ligne Roset piece designed by Didier Gomez for daily use. It is of deliberately understated elegance, well proportioned, with moulded aluminium feet and traditional mattress-style buttoned cushions, and it evokes the timeless style of the 1930s. It seats 3.

Construction

The structure is a rectangular frame of high-resistance tubular steel in epoxy black lacquer, with particleboard panels clad in polyether foam; the sleep area is steel-framed. The feet are moulded aluminium, also in epoxy black lacquer. The seat and back cushions, which become the mattress, are high-resilience Bultex foam of varying densities, and the lumbar cushions and pillows are polyester quilting. The quilting of the cover is 300 g/m² polyester, with buttons and a mattress-style finish, and its underside is an exclusive 100% cotton piqué treated with fungicide and antibacterial agents. The sleep area is 140 x 200 cm and 16 cm thick.

Seat that becomes the mattress

The seat and back cushions turn into the mattress. They are high-resilience Bultex foam of varying densities, over a steel-framed sleep area measuring 140 x 200 cm and 16 cm thick.
