Overview
Nellee is a 2025 chair by Calvi Brambilla. Zanotta describes its presence as restrained yet confident and positions it as a companion to tables with a strong character.
Construction
A steel skeleton supports self-extinguishing moulded foam; a share of its polyols comes from biological sources. Either fabric or leather forms the detachable outside upholstery.
Specifications
The official drawing prints 49 cm beneath the front view, 54 cm beneath the side view and 84 cm on the largest vertical guide. A separate vertical guide gives 46 cm.
Geschichte
Convivial form
Calvi Brambilla conceived Nellee to combine comfort and formal rigour in a convivial setting. The continuous upholstered surfaces give the chair a clear, composed outline beside tables that Zanotta describes as having a strong character.
Material development
The self-extinguishing moulded foam incorporates a portion of polyols from biological sources. Zanotta makes the outer upholstery detachable in either fabric or leather.
