N02 Recycle Chair

Overview

The N02™ Recycle N02-10 is the four-legged chair of the N02™ Recycle series by nendo. Fritz Hansen calls it a multi-use chair made from upcycled plastic household waste that can be recycled again; both the product data and the fact sheet date the design to 2019.

Construction

• Shell: 100 % recycled polypropylene, with a crease in the back
• Base: tube legs in chromed steel or powder-coated steel

A fold of paper

The crease in the back of the N02™ Recycle was inspired by a simple fold of paper on the designer's worktable, and the product data says it supports the upper and lower back.

In use at SDU

In 2024 the University of Southern Denmark chose N02™ Recycle chairs for its Faculty of Health Sciences in Odense for their blend of sustainability, durability and aesthetic appeal, as the product page's project story records.
