Overview
MYchair is a sculptural lounge chair by UNStudio/Ben van Berkel for Walter Knoll. Slanting, rounded and straight surfaces alternate, and the base, seat and back form a powerful composition that is impressive from all angles.
Construction
A moulded foam body on a steel subframe carries a moulded foam seat and back with a wadding cover. The base is tubular steel, highly polished chrome plated or in black chrome, and the upholstery sculpts convex and concave shapes.
