Description
Overview
The Motus Bed settee has the advantages of a sofa and is also designed for sleeping. It has an intermediate position between sofa and bed, the chaise longue, which is an unfolded relaxed seated position. It is easy to operate and comes in 26 materials.
Construction
A steel mechanism carries 9 mm thick birch slats, and plywood panels cover the structure. The base and front are black-stained ash veneered MDF with a satin finish, on epoxy satin black lacquered rails. The mattress is 8 cm thick Bultex high resilience polyurethane foam at 23 kg/m3.

Story
Sofa, chaise longue and bed
Motus unfolds from a sofa through the chaise longue position to a bed of 160 x 195. In the unfolded position its depth equals that of the bedding, 195 cm, and a foam insulator is provided to fit between the slats and the unfolded seat.
Black-stained ash base and pivoting tablets
The black-stained ash base brings a touch of elegance and modernity to the sofa bed. Pivoting tablets, with a welded black lacquered steel bracket and a solid ash top, serve as bedside tables in the bed position.
