Overview
Mora System is casework for healthcare by Colin Nourie, made to keep surfaces clear. The range takes in base cabinets, overhead storage, towers, work surfaces, sinks and carts.
Construction
Laser-edge banding keeps lines and seams to a minimum. Tiles, storage, surfaces, shelves and panels are laminate, with Corian also offered for work surfaces. Base cabinets hang on the wall or stand on the floor, and overhead storage is fixed to an architectural wall.
Specifications
Sinks sit centred over a sink cabinet, with sizes and shapes to choose from and ADA access. Five pull styles are offered.
Story
Clearing the surface
Mora is healthcare casework planned to keep surfaces clear, so caregivers can give more of their time to patients. Its modular storage puts important items within quick reach and keeps rarely used ones out of sight.
Recognition
The system received the Nightingale Healthcare Award in 2017 and the European Product Design Award and a GOOD DESIGN Award in 2019. It is credited to Colin Nourie, whose studio Collective Ten works regularly with Herman Miller.
