Description
Overview
Montevideo is a sofa by Claesson Koivisto Rune for Tacchini, an elegant synthesis of aesthetics and ergonomics. It reflects a careful study of lines and proportions that offer absolute comfort.
Construction
Beneath the upholstery sits a wooden frame filled with multi-density polyurethane foam, together with a seat pillow in feather. The sofa stands on a color-coated steel base, and its outer cover can be fabric or leather.
Specifications
Montevideo is 90 cm deep and 78 cm high.
Story
One welcoming shape
For the Montevideo sofa, the Swedish architectural studio Claesson Koivisto Rune studied lines and proportions with care. The armrests and the backrest form a single welcoming shape, and super-soft feather cushions complete it by supporting the lower back.
Artisanal coverings and finishes
Montevideo is enhanced by artisanal coverings and finishes. The upholstery comes in a range of fabrics and leathers, and the steel base is offered in two colour-coated finishes.
