Overview

For the indoor version of the Monolith collection, Poliform says Emmanuel Gallina reinterprets the archaic lines of the dolmen with warm and precious materials. The product page dates the design to 2023.

Construction

Technical details name polyurethane lacquer, solid wood or honed travertine (closed pore) for the structure, and veneered medium density fibre panel, honed travertine (closed pore) or marble for the top. An optional rotating tray, a Lazy Susan, is offered, and metal inserts come in 2 finishes.

Warm materials for the dolmen

Poliform presents the indoor Monolith as Emmanuel Gallina's reading of the archaic dolmen lines in warm and precious materials. The top is in black elm or travertine marble, and combined with the foot in the same finish it gives life to a monolith with an imposing and monumental appearance.

Plans, seats and rotating tray

The dimensions tab has sections for rectangular and round plans and for a low version. A note says that for some table sizes, chairs 535 mm wide increase the number of available seats. A rotating tray is an option, with useful-space drawings for round tables of 1600, 1800, 2000 and 2500 mm.
