Overview
Mixu 02 is Arper’s 2025 edition of the customizable seating range developed in collaboration with Gensler. The chair combines rounded geometry, a fully upholstered seat and back, and four-leg metal or wood base options.
Construction
Representative article 5832 uses four steel legs with a chrome finish or powder coating. Arper specifies an Elmosoft leather or Valencia coated-fabric seat, and the collection page states that some internal components use post-industrial recycled plastic. The chair is assembled without glue and can be disassembled for material reuse or recycling.

Story
A second Mixu edition
Arper presents Mixu 02 as a new development of the original Mixu collection, whose 2021 date remains on the family page. Article 5832 carries the current 2025 design credit with Gensler.
Choice within a controlled outline
The chair’s rounded geometric form acts as a stable framework for combining upholstery, finish and base choices. Arper links that customizability to disassembly: no glue is used, the parts can be separated, and internal recycled plastic is incorporated where specified.
