Story
A reduced-depth console
The Molteni&C page says the proportions emphasize balance and stability, which lets the console occupy transitional spaces without becoming visually dominant. It names the joint between the legs and the body as the focal point, treated as a constructive detail that contributes to the object's grounded character.
Stone and wood meeting
The joint between legs and body appears instinctive, reading as sculpture rather than as a technical solution. It describes stone and wood meeting without ornament, held together by balance, gravity and contact. The strength of the piece lies in its proportions, material clarity and a construction that is legible from every angle.
