Overview
Maui Soft Noma is a fabric-covered chair credited by Kartell to Vico Magistretti. Kartell's "MAUI SOFT NOMA 2013" sheet carries the subtitle "Tribute to Vico Magistretti". The page offers the chairs in the new Noma fabrics.
Construction
The frame is steel, chrome-plated or painted, the shell is nylon covered in fabric and the Noma cover is made of 100% recycled polyester; the page says the fabrics are created 50% with recycled fibres.

Story
Soft version, new fabric
Kartell's page says that the Maui chairs are now available in the new Noma fabrics. It describes Noma as attractive yet hard-wearing and versatile, with a two-tone mélange design, excellent fire resistance and environmentally friendly appeal. Six colours are chosen for the catalogue, and the whole colour range can be ordered as Client Fabric.
A tribute
The data sheet puts the line "Tribute to Vico Magistretti" under the title, while the page credits the chair to Vico Magistretti. The sheet also lists a customer-fabric version of the chair, in which the fabric supplied to cover a single piece measures 140 x 125 cm.
