Description

Overview

The Lud'o Table (2024) by Patricia Urquiola is a set of living room service tables for Cappellini, offered in two dimensions, each a metal cone carrying a round wooden top.

Construction

The base is metal with an embossed powder coating in a choice of colours, and the top is a matt lacquered medium-density fibreboard disc. Black plastic feet complete the table, and on the higher version the upper part of the base column follows the finish of the top.

Specifications

60 x 60 x 51 cm (LUT2). Made in Italy.

Story

Following the Lud'o Lounge

The Lud'o Lounge armchair came first. Cappellini says Patricia Urquiola then drew Lud'o Table, whose conical metal base evokes the armchair's original design.

Base and top

The round tops are matt lacquered in a wide range of shades that can be freely combined with the colours of the base. On the higher version the upper part of the base column always takes the finish of the top, which gives a bi-colour look.
