Overview
Antonio Citterio designed Luchino Outdoor, a lightweight chair that folds. Comfort and sophistication are the qualities named for it, in dining chair and armchair versions.
Construction
Hand-turned, hand-finished iroko is the folding frame, in four wood finishes. Stainless steel (316) supplies the screws and connectors, while zama die-castings are used for the hinges; both come burnished or in matt titanium 710. Canvas, water-repellent and stain-proof, covers the backrest and seat, with tips of thermoplastic material under the feet.
Specifications
- 57 x 51 x 83 cm (code 02C4B1)
- Wood finishes: 4
- Canvas palette: 8 colors
Story
Made for open-air spaces
The chair lends elegance and personality to any open-air space. Its folding mechanism is practical, and the versatility of the design means it can travel from poolside to garden or from patio to porch.
Craft in wood and steel
Turned and finished by hand, the iroko structure shows the fine artisan craftsmanship of Flexform, as does the careful work on the small stainless-steel parts. A sturdy canvas fabric, offered in a variety of colors, makes up the backrest and seat.
