Overview
Loai is an armchair by the architect Stefano Belingardi Clusoni, his first product for Poliform. An exposed frame echoes the classic compass shape, and the backrest is enveloping. The page presents it as a small armchair made for low dining.
Construction
Solid wood carries the armchair, in Spessart oak or black elm. A Polimex shell with multi-density polyurethane foam inside forms seat and backrest, over a cotton canvas pre-cover and beneath a detachable textile or leather cover.

Story
Stefano Belingardi Clusoni, 2024
Poliform calls Loai the first product by the Milan architect Stefano Belingardi Clusoni for the company, an armchair born from the dialogue between architecture and design. The page dates the design to 2024.
Contrasts in one armchair
The text sets compact size against an extra-large seat, firm structure against soft cushioning, and modernism against contemporaneity. The exposed frame echoes the classic compass shape, and the backrest is enveloping.
