Description

Overview

Little Petra VB2 is a two-seater sofa credited to Viggo Boesen; its page and fact sheet both print 1938. The page says it is based on Boesen's original drawings from the 1930s and offers even more space to sink into than the lounge chair. The variant named on the page is Oiled Walnut with Gentle 0733.

Construction

Beech and plywood form the frame, with HR foam and polyester wadding laid over it. Legs of solid wood are shaped by turning and CNC milling, and felt gliders sit under them. On the page the upholstery is hand-stitched and the frame hand-built, with legs in oak or walnut.

Specifications

W 150 × D 80 × H 75 cm, seat height 40 cm, seating depth 55 cm. Weight 35 kg.

Story

From the original drawings

According to the page, Little Petra VB2 follows Viggo Boesen's original drawings from the 1930s and promises the same exceptional craftsmanship as the lounge chair, with more room to sink in. Hand-stitched upholstery and a hand-built wooden frame are named as part of that craftsmanship.
