Description

Overview

The Linear System High Table is a long, high table designed for short meetings, intimate work settings, bar use, dining and kitchen areas. Its half-circle legs meet the tabletop in a clean, continuous profile, while the stretcher underneath adds stability.

Construction

The tabletop is available in oak veneer or black nanolaminate; the black version has a black ABS edge. The frame is veneered plywood, the legs are solid oak and the stretcher is powder-coated aluminum. Felt glides are included. The oak tabletop uses mix-matched veneer, so natural variation can occur between tables.

Specifications

The documented representative configuration is 2400 × 1100 × 950 mm (L × W × H), black nanolaminate with black ABS and oak. A 1050 mm-high configuration is also listed by Muuto.

Story

A table for changing settings

Thomas Bentzen designed the Linear System High Table around flexibility and spontaneity. The same tall work surface can support a brief meeting, an intimate work session, a bar arrangement, dining or a kitchen setting.

Light structure

The legs are shaped as half-circles and joined seamlessly with the tabletop, giving the long table a light, airy appearance. A metal stretcher bar below the top brings the structure together while adding stability.
