Description

Overview

Sebastian Herkner is the designer of the Lewa low table from Ligne Roset. Its surface is divided into several separate sections, and one of them is a ceramic tray with edges high enough to hold water for cut flowers. Two finishes are offered.

Construction

The base is satin-finished black lacquered steel. A satin varnish covers the solid ash top, which is brushed and black-stained in one finish and natural and non-brushed in the other. The tray is gloss enamelled moulded ceramic.

Specifications

1,076 mm wide, 720 mm deep and 340 mm high; weight 21 kg.

Story

A surface in separate sections

The Lewa low table takes a wreath shape in which each component has its own unique shape. The surface is therefore divided into several separate sections, in which a harmonious display of various objects can be arranged.

A tray for cut flowers

One of the sections is made of ceramic, and its edges are high enough to hold water. Cut flowers can be arranged in it as they might be in a mini Japanese zen bowl. The table is 340 mm high and weighs 21 kg.
