Description

Overview

Levante is a 2019 outdoor dining table from the Flexform Design Center. Its design is deliberately uncomplicated and rests on a contrast of materials: a slatted top in solid wood over a stainless steel base.

Construction

The top is solid iroko and the base is austenitic stainless steel 316 that can be disassembled, with stainless steel 316 support bars under the top. Four finishes are offered for the iroko, and the steel base can be electropolished, epoxy powder-coated or embossed lacquered.

Specifications

  • Dining table: D 100 x H 74 cm
  • Iroko finishes: 4

Story

Austerity against texture

Levante is a dining table whose design is kept uncomplicated on purpose. Its interest lies in the contrast between two materials: the austerity of the austenitic stainless steel 316 base and the textural beauty of the slatted solid wood top.

Finishes for top and base

The solid wood top is available in different finishes, while the stainless steel base is epoxy powder-coated in an array of colours. Four finishes are named for the iroko top, and the base structure can be disassembled.
