Overview
Lampada da Appartamento is a diffused-light lamp by the Swiss studio Panter & Tourron, offered in a floor version and a wall version. A vertical metal element and two metal arches form a circular light ring.
Construction
The central structure is a vertical metal element, matt lacquered black, with two LED stripes. The ring is two metal arches varnished in metallic blue. The LED stripes inside the central element reflect light on the arches.
Specifications
The sheet lists 3000 K, 1900 lm and 22 W, with a 24 V plug-in power supply. The floor lamp has a side power button with capacitive metal touch dimmer. The floor version is 82 x 40 x 185 cm (PO_2301).
Story
Prototype and collection
Panter & Tourron's lamp was presented for the first time in 2022 as a prototype in the floor version only. Cappellini says that in 2023 the family officially became part of its collection, with the floor version and a new wall version.
Minimal object, large scale
Cappellini describes the lamp as a minimal object of circular geometry and huge dimensions, able to furnish an environment in a sculptural way. The two arches are fixed to the source of light.
