Kobo Outdoor Table

Overview

Kobo Outdoor is Patrick Norguet's 2023 outdoor table for Flexform. A top and four legs, both of impressive size, make up the table, and the drawings print a height of 74 cm. Smooth, rounded slats and turned legs are its two crafted elements.

Construction

Slats of solid iroko form the top. Solid iroko also makes the legs, which hold internal steel supports. Top and legs share four finish options. Zama die-cast feet stand on thermoplastic tips.

Archetype of the table

Patrick Norguet designed Kobo Outdoor in 2023. The starting point was the archetypal table, one top held up by four legs, and both elements are given generous proportions.

Wood and handwork

The plainness is intentional. Solid wood supplies the character of the piece, together with the craft that goes into the rounded slats on the top and into turning each leg. The slats are solid iroko, and four finishes are available for the top and the legs alike.
