Description

Overview

Kobo Outdoor is a 2023 table by Patrick Norguet for Flexform. Its design goes back to the archetype of a top and four legs, both set apart by their impressive size, and the simplicity is deliberate.

Construction

The top is made of solid iroko slats, smooth and rounded, and the turned legs are solid iroko with internal steel supports. Die-cast Zama forms the feet, and thermoplastic tips sit beneath them.

Specifications

  • Coffee table: 35 cm high
  • Iroko finishes: 4

Story

A top and four legs

Patrick Norguet designed Kobo Outdoor in 2023 from the archetype of the table: a top and four legs, both made distinctive by their impressive size. For inspiration, it borrows from the dignified strength of furniture made in some African countries.

Solid wood and craftsmanship

The deliberate simplicity of the design draws its force from the expressive qualities of solid wood and from the artisan craftsmanship of its parts, namely the smooth, rounded slats of the top and the turned legs.
