Seat / Notes

Not published by the manufacturer: The product page gives 14 system heights (2200–3240 mm) and two lengths and depths, but the drawings show separate uprights/components rather than one complete configuration; storing guessed overall width/depth would be misleading.

Description

Overview

Jack is a wall system designed by Michael Anastassiades in 2018. B&B Italia offers floor-to-ceiling uprights for separating bookcases and wall-fixed uprights for installations placed against a wall, with lighting optional in both versions.

Construction

The frame uses die-cast and extruded aluminium. Storage units are painted or veneered MDF; shelves are painted or veneered HPL; hinged units use internal glass shelves. The system also lists steel regulators and an optional 24V DC, 3000K LED strip.

Specifications

The official sheet documents separate uprights and components rather than one complete coded configuration, so no overall dimensions are stored.

Story

Adjustable vertical system

The aluminium upright, joining system and telescopic adjustment of plus or minus 40 mm support Jack's floor-to-ceiling format. B&B Italia lists fourteen system heights from 2200 to 3240 mm, as well as two lengths and two depths.

Shelves, light and closed storage

Horizontal shelves are offered with or without light. Storage units can be configured with drawers, flap doors or hinged doors, allowing open shelving and closed compartments to be combined within the same upright system.
