Description
Overview
HAY presents the J110 as its reproduction of Poul M. Volther's J110 Chair, with the comfort of a lounge chair and the functionality of a dining chair. The page says it offers equal measures of strong aesthetics and practicality, and that long rods at the back and curved armrests create an inviting expression.

Story
Volther's Windsor interpretation
Per the page, Poul Volther (written Paul Volther there) joined FDB as a designer in 1949 and later became head of design; the J110 is the design of his that HAY now produces, described as his interpretation of the Windsor chair.
Lounge and dining
HAY pairs the comfort of a lounge chair with the functionality of a dining chair. The variant pages give the J110 a height of 106 cm, a width of 53 cm and a length of 60 cm.
