Construction
Per the sheet, MDF sheets are cut on a CNC machine and covered with oak veneer and solid oak edges, then sanded and coated in water-based lacquer. No biocides have been used on it, and the bench stands on plastic gliders.

Built to be taken apart
The sheet lists four impact points for OS5: flat-packed shipping, water-based lacquer for indoor air quality, FSC certified wood, and a design for disassembly that eases repair, renovation, passing on and recycling.
