Story
A simple construction
The sheet describes the Islets Table series as a precise design with a strong identity, built on a simple construction in which details are kept to a minimum. The dining table is round, with a 120 cm diameter.
Maria Bruun
Danish designer Maria Bruun, the page says, creates experiences in form and space and visualises her ideas in a spatial context early in the creative process. The sheet links the series to her sculptural minimalism, which seeks a balance between a light expression and a strong, assertive presence.
