Overview
The Ishino Sofa is a sofa by Daï Sugasawa for Walter Knoll. Its curves are finely rounded, its upholstery extra-soft, and its covers can be fabric, leather or a mix of both.
Construction
Sinuous springs in a wooden frame support the seat, and the back is wooden construction. A cold foam sandwich with polyester fibre wrap covers seat and back, and the loose back cushions use goose fill in ticking chambers. A black-painted plinth is the base.
Specifications
- Overall height: 74 cm
- Base: plinth painted black
- Back cushions: loose, goose fill
Story
Feeling poured into form
Finely rounded curves and extra-soft upholstery are what the Ishino Sofa offers the sitter. Its generous seat and pleasantly rounded back give a high level of seating comfort, while its precision provides stability.
Soft, casual lines
Ishino stands for ideal proportions and a vision of more design. Soft, casual lines in the upholstery are enhanced by the way the covers are fitted.
