Description

Overview

Iseo is a 2016 table by Carlo Colombo. Four tapered metal legs with bevelled edges sit flush with the outer corners, supporting a thin rectangular top.

Construction

The frame is metal in six listed finishes. The top can be marble or veneered Canaletto walnut, ash or oak.

Specifications

Representative code: 023380. Dimensions: 180 × 110 × 73 cm. Four fixed-size rectangular codes are drawn. The four drawings retain a common 110-centimetre depth and 73-centimetre height while widths progress from 180 to 280 centimetres.

Story

Subtractive base

Flexform characterises Iseo through simplicity, balanced proportions and formal purity. The corner placement of the legs leaves the geometry of the base direct and legible.

Surface contrast

The product description attributes Iseo's character to the meeting of its metal structure with either a wood or marble surface. The sheet keeps that construction consistent across four lengths. All four codes preserve the same depth and height as their widths increase.
