Story
A four-tube pedestal
Knoll makes the round table's column from four vertical tubes. The design page says that they manage wiring for powered use, while the product sheet adds that the base is deliberately flat where it meets the floor so feet can rest on it.

The round top
The round table is 36 in in diameter and 28.75 in high. Its top can be resin, laminate or stone, and Knoll offers optional modules for power or USB.
