Story
A hybrid chair by Doshi & Levien
Moroso credits Impossible Wood to Nipa Doshi and Jonathan Levien. The designers' manufacturer biography describes their practice as a meeting of Indian visual culture with industrial design.
Polypropylene shaped as a shell
The chair combines a moulded polypropylene shell with a four-leg tubular steel base. Three base routes cover powder-coated, chromed and outdoor-suitable AISI 304 stainless steel versions, while the chairs stack eight high.
