Overview
Jean-Marie Massaud designed the Ilary coffee table with wood base for Poltrona Frau. A marble top in polished or semi-polished surfaces rests on a solid ash base, which comes in several finishes.
Construction
- Base: solid ash with protective felt caps
- Top: marble, reinforced underneath by a technical mesh
- Sub-top: birch plywood painted textured black
- Marble surface: clear polyester on brilliant marble; a water-repellent protective solution on semi-brilliant Calacatta and Arabescato Venato

Story
Marble on solid ash
In this version of Ilary, Jean-Marie Massaud sets a marble top on a solid ash base. The base is offered in several finishes, while the top comes in different marbles with polished or semi-polished surfaces.
Reinforcement under the top
Beneath the marble, a technical mesh guards the top against bending, breakage and impact. A sub-top of birch plywood, painted textured black, gives it further reinforcement and stability, and felt caps protect the base.
