Story
Soft parts that carry the structure
B&B Italia describes Husk-Sofa as born from overturning the traditional construction process of a sofa: its soft and flexible parts are the ones with structural qualities.
The maker adds that the model revisits the tradition of Chesterfield sofas and addresses the theme of capitonné quilting in a contemporary version, with loose down cushions for comfort.

In the designer's words
Patricia Urquiola's page calls it elegant and casual, "not a sofa to sit on, but rather to sit in".
