Overview
The Hi Pad stool (1999) was designed by Jasper Morrison for Cappellini. It is the result of a production process that balances technology and artisan craftsmanship, with a fixed leather or fabric cover that adheres to the three-dimensional edge of the padding.
Construction
The structure is beech plywood with multi-density polyurethane foam padding topped by a fixed cover in fabric or leather. The base is stainless steel, in a satined finish or matt varnished in white, mud or black, on polyethylene feet.
Specifications
44 x 35 x 45 cm (HP_13).
Story
Upholstery that follows the edge
Hi Pad is a meeting of master upholsterers' skills and innovative techniques, which let the leather or fabric cover adhere to the edge of the padding. In the fabric version the profile is closed with a piping in the same material, and in the leather version it is varnished black.
A sober stool for homes and contracts
The stools of the Hi Pad range are sober and rigorous in design, suited to residential and contract settings, with Greenguard Gold certification for emissions control.
