公式商品ページへ概要
Overview
Stefan Diez designed Boa Table for HAY as a contemporary conference table informed by Japanese bamboo craftsmanship. Herman Miller offers it in multiple shapes and three heights, with power-ready options and integrated cable management.
Construction
The hollow trestle and legs use Hydro CIRCAL aluminum containing at least 75 percent post-consumer recycled material. Flexible profiles bend into place during assembly, allowing the frame to ship flat. Work surfaces are offered in solid laminates, woodgrain laminates, and wood veneers.
Seated oval dimensions
The seated oval configuration ranges to 107.9 inches wide, 60 inches deep, and 29.5 inches high. Counter-height and standing-height versions are also listed.
ストーリー
Bamboo translated into aluminum
Boa began with Stefan Diez's interest in Japanese bamboo craftsmanship. The tubular frame interprets the strength and utility of bamboo through industrial aluminum profiles that flex during assembly and then hold the table in its complete form.
A lighter conference-table structure
HAY and Herman Miller describe Boa as an alternative to heavy conventional conference tables. Its trestle arrives flat, assembles with minimal tools, and routes cables through hollow legs. Different top shapes and three heights extend the same structural idea across meeting, café, and team settings.
