Story
A back made of cowhide cord
Flexform describes the Happy armchair through its back: a metal frame embellished with a sophisticated, entirely hand-woven open-weave design made with cowhide cord. The soft goose-down seat and back cushions, it says, contrast with the understated yet elegant metal structure, and the couture tailoring of the upholstery is accented by tone-on-tone or contrasting grosgrain piping.
In four projects
Flexform's project texts place Happy armchairs in a Kentfield home renovated by Swatt Miers Architects, in Casa Varanda in Marbella, in a villa on Mallorca by Estudio Cano Arquitectura, and in a renovated Amsterdam penthouse.
