- Padding of recyclable "V-Foam" polyurethane, replaceable fabric cover
- Four-legged base in tubular steel, chrome-plated or powder-coated in basic dark
- Fabric selection includes the recycled range Laser RE
- Carpet glides fitted, felt glides listed for hard floors

Story
A lighter base for the soft shell
Vitra says the tubular steel base gives HAL Soft Tube a light, graceful appearance, set against padded upholstery that softens the HAL shell.
A cover that can be changed
The fabric cover can be removed and changed as needed, and the selection includes Laser RE, a fabric made from recycled material.
