Story

A design reduced by subtraction

The page connects the chair to the concise character of its poetic name. Flexform describes a process of removing elements until the essential design remains, while demanding close control of each construction detail.

Cowhide fitted over metal

The upholstery is tailored across the seat, back and arms and follows the underlying frame. The technical specification keeps the cover fixed and supports it with crushproof foam and thermoplastic inserts.
