Overview
The GUBI 3D Bar Stool adapts Komplot Design’s pioneering multidirectional veneer form to a tall sledge-base seat. Its continuous curves give the stool visual lightness while directing the edges away from the user.
Construction
This 750 mm version is fully upholstered in Belsuede Special FR by Dedar and uses a polished stainless-steel sledge base with standard glides.

Story
Three-dimensional moulding
Komplot Design created the GUBI 3D form around a technique for moulding veneer in three dimensions. GUBI says the resulting form combines a comfortable seat with visual lightness because its edges point away from the user.
Bar-stool edition
The selected 750 mm bar-height version wraps the form in full upholstery and raises it on a polished stainless-steel sledge base. Standard glides complete item 10139411, whose published dimensions are 440 × 450 × 890 mm.
