Story

A lamp for the full moon

On its US page Flos says the 1998 design is meant to evoke the full moon: a quiet radiance with a touch of night-time magic. The suspended sphere is said to maximise light diffusion and to spread an even, ambient glow through the room; Flos also calls the pendant a sought-after style.

Morrison's Super Normal

Flos links the design to Morrison's Super Normal philosophy: understated yet refined forms that improve everyday spaces. It adds that MoMA holds Glo-Ball in its permanent collection.
